This month is set to be a very hectic month at work so I decided to get outdoors and de-stress. I also wanted to start gentle exercise now I’ve been signed off by my doctor. Park Lives is the perfect timetable of events for me right now.
One of the reasons is that it’s a chance to try new activities and also the sessions are free. Equipment and instruction is given so it’s easy and fun.
First up is Flow Yoga in Walker Park. I used to do some yoga a few years ago and saw real benefits so I’m looking forward to getting back into it. It should help strengthen my ankle and help me to tone up. I’m going to do vlogs and full posts on both sessions I’m trying.
I like getting into green spaces. We have so many that I haven’t visited yet in and around Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Walker Park is completely new for me and a great chance to explore this green space.
